Jennifer Beaugez

I am a Clinton resident, wife to Jim (a fellow English nerd and talented freelance writer), and mother to two daughters (high school and middle school), both of whom I have homeschooled their whole lives. In addition to my work at home, I have served on the board of Main Street Clinton and volunteer for the organization's community events. I currently serve on the Clinton Downtown Roadmap Committee, a group of local businesspeople, political leaders, and volunteers who are working to preserve and enhance the historic business districts of Clinton. I also served three years as a CHEC small group leader, but please don’t ask me to plan your party or field trip. In my spare time I like to pretend to garden, read lots of non-fiction full of details I rarely remember and write. And edit. And write some more.

Brittney Tate

Hello, my name is Brittney! I have 8 years of experience in education, with an additional 15 years in Culinary Arts. I am a wife to my husband of 7 years and dog mom to a 12-year-old bassador. I am a graduate of Hinds Community College, where I triple majored in Culinary Arts & Hospitality Tourism Management, and Hotel/Restaurant Management. After graduating from Hinds CC, I attended the University of Southern Mississippi in pursuit of a degree in Child Development. Throughout my life, my passion has been culinary arts and education. I have had many years of experience in both areas. During my years in Culinary Art, I have had the opportunity to work side by side with some great chefs and even worked as an assistant food and beverage manager at a couple of well-known hotel chains. Throughout my years in Culinary Art, my dream has always been to share the art of cooking with others through food selection education. In my leisure time, I like to enjoy nature and the great natural creations of God, which motivates my interest in culinary creations.
